So much to love about these releases and I just love  Grunge and Steampunk it sends me to my Happy Place!!! Check out all the goodies here!
I have had fun so far and I have so many more designs in my head, just need to find time to get them done!!
First a layout featuring my eldest with his best mate before footy Best and Fairest presentation Night:

I used this new piece, the Circle Mash Collage, added some micro Cogs and hey hey we have a grungy steampunk page!

If you take a close look you might be able to see these two  beauties I used in the background.  Grunge and Harlequin stamps. These 2 made me squeal Out Loud!

Yes my mini Banner obsession continues!

My next Layout has my niece as the star!
Once I saw this Grungy Wing Stencil, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

Just do a flip and you have a perfect pair!
I used texture paste to create my wings here.

Here are a few closer shots:

The Micro Cogs, cogs and flourishes worked so well together to create depth to the "wings".

I used the Random Dots Stencil with texture paste to create some "movement" on the page.

I really got my pink Mojo going on here, something very rare!

I do love how this one turned out!
Well I am done for now I will be back as the other projects I have in mind take shape, but for now it's bye bye!

Another Page for Scrap FX

Back again with another page created for Scrap FX.
This time using these awesome background stamps.

These are just fabulous to use just ink up once and stamp away for lots of background goodness.
The teeny circles are from this Build a flower stamp I actually cut mine into individual stamps for easy use.

Here is the page featuring my little brothers' family who live in the USA, miss them all to bits!

I used Lindys Stamp Gang sprays for the colour and some pigment ink pads with the stamps.
The embossed title is a new mini wordlet, just love the square shape of these:

Once again used a teeny banner combined with the 2014 pack.
The banner I painted black and outlined with a white paint marker...so easy!

The Mica Flakes and Glitter I added to finish off the page, I used gel medium to adhere them to the page they seem to stay put!

I embossed the 2014 and the smallest of the Lots of Love Hearts (another chippy I just cannot get enough of!)

So once again that is all from me, till next time, do more of what makes you happy!

Playing with ScrapFX!

Hi everyone,
just thought I would share a page I created for ScrapFX using the new releases for the month. My favourites this month would have to be these too cute  mini banners, months of the year, days of the month and finally the 2014s in different fonts.
They all combine so well together, I am so sure I will be turning to them again and again because look how awesome they look on a page!

I have also used this fabulously crazy circle embellishment, that looked a little like wire once I treated it with embossing powders.
Crazy Circles

This is a cute mini wordlet that I used with the same embossing powder as the crazy circles.

Did a little more stamping with some Kaiser and Glitz stamps and went crazy with a pencil and sequins.

Used the number collage stamp and rediscovered the old Make a Flower Stamp to create the background. The texture was done with the hash stencil and molding paste.

So that is it from me for now. Will be back with my other page shortly!
Check out all the new stuff for the month here at Scrap FX.
Till next time, I hope I have shown how cool these new products are, and inspired you to create!

More fun Stuff!

Back again with another page made for Scrap FX with their new releases for May.
This time I used these very cool hash bits and hash foam stamps......I was so inspired when I first laid my eyes on these. I am certain they will feature in lots of my future creations.

Hash BitsHash Stamps
I used the foam stamps on the background stamping the ink in a random manner. The best thing about these foam stamps they really keep on stamping even with one ink application.

I also stamped into the wet light molding paste to create texture.

I inked the hash bits with black then added embossing powder roughly so that it was not perfect coverage.

Here is the full page of my nieces hamming it up once again!

I used this Bracket word as my title and my journalling .... how easy is that??
{Happiness......

I used the black ink once again and some gold paint for the highlights and smaller lettering as they looked lost all in black.

The background sprays are all from Lindys' Stamp Gang. The patterned paper is all Graphic 45.

I tried to replicate the hash pattern with the patterned paper.

Lastly I just embellished away with sequins and liquid pearls.

Well that is it for me for now, hope you are all creating away and perhaps I have thrown just a little inspiration your way!
Hugs,

March Goodies from Scrap FX.

Hi All!
Time to let you in on what I have been playing with this month from Scrap FX!
First a favourite item revisited....chicken wire..... but wait it is a brand new size....well 2 actually, small and medium to compliment the large panel Scrap FX already have.
Chicken Wire, small
The small version is so cute at 7 x 11 cm

Chicken Wire, mediuim
The medium is a handy size too at 7 x 14. 5cm
I used the smaller version here on a pen holder for my messy Teen!

I combined a few old favourites on this one and Lindy's Stamp gang and Dylusions sprays. Yes I got very messy!
Here is the other side:

The background of this piece was made with texture paste and another new product, number border Stencils in both large and small.
Number Border stencil, large
The large measures 24 x 6cm
Number Border stencil, small
The small is 24 x 3cm
I used the too cute smaller version.

I used the larger number border stencil here as the background for this layout:

I also made good use of the medium chicken wire, just loved it and went such a long way when cut and stood up to lots of product as I changed my mind numerous times till I was satisfied!

Revisited my cog stash for the rest of the embellishments, always great for a masculine page!

I used a great wordlet I have been bonding with that goes soooooo well with the arrows.

While I am on the numbers theme there's more...... a number collage foam stamp that I used on this page that I made for the Lindy's Stamp Gang February Colour Challenge. Here is another look at the page:

And here is the Stamp:

Numbers Stamp
Just divine!
I have used it to create the background and used a little old favourite chippy, the heart collage and some cute words:
I randomly pressed the stamp around the page.

There is also a large stencil:
Numbers Collage stencil
It measures an awesome 28 x 28cm big enough to fill a whole page or mask it off to use just a bit!
I am yet to get this baby dirty but that is just a matter of time before that happens!!!
I cannot wait to see what the other gals get up to with these products Scrap FX never fails to excite!!
Thanks for visiting!
