Hi All,
Back with a quick share, my take on the September Challenge at Scrap Around the World.
The Mood Board was just so inspiring I could not wait to create something just a little outside my comfort zone....soft, girly and pretty.
I was inspired by the vintage feel of the board so changed the photo to sepia, I felt it worked better with my colour scheme.
This is my attempt at using flowers!!! As I do not have a wide range (actually very few) I made the flowers from some fabric scraps....I think I need to practice the art of clustering, this took me forever to be happy with it!
I so admire those that are cluster and flower artists!
I used a new Scrap FX stencil, "Single Damask" in the background, that is just perfect for the shabby look I was going for. I used Finnabair's Crackle Paste through the stencil and can I just say it is the most effective crackle paste I have tried, and believe me I have tried a few out, (actually ALOT). So it will now be my go to product for fabulous cracks!!
The colours I chose from my Lindy's Sprays.
Of course there is also a few chippies that make up this page, all from Scrap FX.
I used lots of embossing powders from Lindy's Stamp Gang and Stampendous.
So that is about all from me today!
Take care
