Time for another Challenge!
This time the fun sketch challenge over at Scrap friends, so cute! I loved the hearts but found that a little soppy for my mood, so I decided upon arrows combined with an old photo of the boys and a cool quote from the stamp range of Kaiser Craft.
Here is the sketch and for once it is pretty obvious that I have used it!
And here is the page, had loads of fun with ink, sprays and did the background marbling with a little help from hubby's shaving foam.....as I said so much fun!!
I wanted a really bright effect so I used Dylusions sprays along side Lindy's Stamp Gang.
All the arrows are from a pack of Scrap FX box stars they are awesome and you get a bundle in the pack (always good to bunch together).
I treated all the chippies with embossing powder and then sprayed a little colour around and allowed it to pool.
Wow how cute were my boys they are so grown up.... into silly teens now.....hard to remember them at this age time sure does fly, feeling old!! I digress.... where was I????
Love this quote in the stamp line from Kaiser and have even used it on birthday cards I think the boys are so over it, but I persist.... that's a good thing right??
A few more details for you and I am done, I may be back with a mini tutorial if you all want to know how I did the marble effect, I made a heap of journal pages also while I had the foam out, it just kept evolving with each print......happy!
The Title is the Playground Alpha ( Scrap FX) treated the same way as the arrows.
And lastly a little look at the marbling of the background:
Thanks for stopping by everyone!
