So the challenge for this month at Kraft Plus is to doodle or zentangle on your layout. Now I did try to "do" precise like a zentangle demands, but it just was not ME! So I hope my scratchings on my LO qualify as a doodle instead!!!
Having said that, I did have a lot of fun doing this challenge. The resulting LO did not turn out quite the way I expected but I do like my "scrawls", take a little peek at them in the close ups first:
I started with a scrape of white Gesso, then went to town with some watercolour. I then proceeded to scribble away using the watercolour as a guide for shape and form.....no really I did just scribble!!
I added little touches of gold metallic paint to give some dimension and add colour. I continued with the gold using the doilie die cut from Prima and some glitter paper.
The chippie is a new Scrap FX flourish that I cut into 2 pieces and gave it a little embossing treatment.
And here is the actual full page:
The Title is a mini wordlet which I also embossed then splashed a little of the teal colour I used on the background for a tinge of colour.
So that is about all! A very restrained LO for me, I did manage to keep it minimal (by my reckoning)!
Thanks for dropping by!
Another beautiful layout Michelle!
