Lindys Stamp Gang October Colour Challenge

Phew!! Just finished in time to pop it in the October Colour Challenge at Lindy's Stamp Gang! Here is the Scheme:

Pretty cool colours I say! 

Here is what developed:

The Lindys products I used were: 

Black Orchid Silver 

Clam Bake Beige

Royal Peacock Fire

Cape Cod Coral

I used embossing Powders on the Chipboard pieces and the background:

Midnight Pewter Obsidian

Golden Angel Wings

The Chippies are from Scrap FX and the patterned paper is from Fancy Pants.

I used the new Background Stamps from Scrap Fx to create the embossed background and the Crackle roller Stamp from Clear snaps also came into play because.... well....it was on my desk!

Love those new mini banners and months, I can see myself reaching for them again and again!

Finnabair Inspired Canvases

Apologies everyone have been a wee bit slack in getting back to this creative spot!
I have been busy though, finally completed 2 Finnabair inspired canvases (love her wonderful work) for my nieces' birthdays and they are now on their way to the US, crossing fingers they get there in one piece!

So I thought I would give a little peek of them finished.

The girls are twins but are such individuals so I wanted to make each canvas a little different.
So here they are:

I have used a chipboard phrase by ScrapFX for each, just love how fine they are and yet you can still put plenty of product on them. I have embossed both phrases with Lindys Stamp Gang embossing powders and they have come up a treat.

There are loads of bits and pieces as you can see, some are metal and plastic and if you look closely there are some ScrapFX goodies in amongst it too.
